      Was it Lucid or not?

Alright, I really had a very weird dream. It was pretty awesome, but weird at the same time. Anyway, I'm going to cut to the chase, leaving out some dream.

After experiencing some crazy dream, my dream self was in the living room, sitting down. I had a strange feeling about the living room for some reason. I was thinking that I must be dreaming, and then my Uncle and my Aunt appeared in thin air. I was like, "What the heck? I am dreaming." I stood up, I felt a big vibration on my body then I yelled out, "Clarity Now!" My sight zoomed in and got clearer. I went upstairs to get my brother, bringing him to my room. I said to him, "Watch this." I tried to double jump to fly, but unfortunately, I didn't. I fell back down. The gravity was normal, I didn't even slowly floated or anything. I was a bit disappointed. Then suddenly, I was flying over a city then turning into the Green Hulk smashing as I landed back down on the terrain. But all of that was just an imagination of my dream self as my dream eyes opened. I was in a completely different room, I don't even recognize who it was or anything. I stood up, thinking if I was lucid. I then started to think of scary things which made the ground rumble, so I quickly began to stop thinking about scary stuff. I tried to spawn some friends. Two of them came out of nowhere and sat down on the chairs, I came over, but they were gone, they somehow turned into pillow stuff toys. I was confused. Then someone knocked on the door, I opened it. It was some Arabic or Indian guy delivering something, not sure what it was, but we talked for awhile and he left. I then closed my eyes, when I opened them again, my waking eyes opened which awakened me.

Here's the thing, I'm not sure if I was lucid or not. First all, when I thought of being in a dream, I didn't even do any reality checks. I've been practicing them every day, all I remembered to do was yell "Clarity now". And second of all, when I woke up, it felt like it was a normal dream. I mean by, it felt like I had no control of myself during that dream. Could I have been simply dreaming about myself being lucid, but not literally lucid? It didn't feel lucid. Don't know if that made sense, but yeah, very weird, but it was a pretty cool experience.

Well, you did say that you are dreaming. But sometimes this doesn't get you lucid. There is something missing and it doesn't get you over the hump. So I can't tell, if you got lucid or not. Did anything change when you said that? Did you feel huge rush of excitement?

You can have control and speak in regular dream also.

If it doesn't feel like lucid to you, then it probably was not. You can have different degrees of control in a lucid, including no control. And yes, you could have been dreaming about being lucid.

In any case, this is a very good sign that you are getting closer. Keep it up.

Yes, that's also the thing that I missed. I didn't feel any excitement at all. If I were to be really lucid, I would have been really excited to the fact that it could have woken me up. Also, I would have done any reality checks, but in the dream, I didn't and just quickly assumed that I was dreaming. Plus, it didn't feel like lucid to me.
So, it was probably a dream about being lucid. It was a pretty fun dream though, because before that happened, it was about a Zombie Apocalypse dream. xD And yes, you're right, it is a good sign that I'm getting closer.

      Thank you Gab!
