Dream Catalog, A variation to get lucid.

      The Dream Catalog Variation
Ok so this is probably not a new technique it is in fact a variation, I believe. This variation revolves around what I call a dream catalog it is the most important part of this whole method. A dream catalog is a central storage area for lucid dreams that you want to have. It can contain as much pages as you like but I recommend a minimum of about 25. It is good to incorporate media, visual and sound aids mainly, to boost the effect of a page in your dream catalog. So for example lets say I wanted to have a lucid dreaming in which I watch the earth from the moon, then as well as writing it you should include maybe a picture of the earth, A video of the earth in orbit etc...
How do I make a dream catalog
Well there are many ways of doing this, I would say that hands down Microsoft PowerPoint 2012 is the best to use because it is both simplistic but has all the tools you need. Remember you can be as crazy as you want with your dream catalog maybe you might want to make it a scrap book. The important thing is to put a decent amount of effort in so that your subconsciousness sort of knows that you want it, this is not the reason why it works but if you are someone who believes in that sort of stuff then it could aid you a fair bit, although I have had no problems so far and I don't believe that the subconscious can see how much effort you are putting in.
Using the dream catalog to get lucid dreams
Even if you don't succeed with this technique then it is a good source for inspiration for your lucid dreams because I cannot guarantee it will work, but it should do if you put the right amount of time and effort in. The first thing to do is to read you your dream catalog twice a day, probably the best time to do this is waking up and going to bed. You will need to familiarise yourself with at least 5-10 of your desired dreams for maximum effect. When you are in bed run over the story in your head, try visualising you could turn this into a WILD with your choice of a dream scenario. But if you're scared of SP then it's best not to go down that route and just fall asleep. Ok you have imagined your dreams good anough from your dream catalog then you should start to see themes or if you're lucky the exact dreams that you you wrote down. This is a huge dream sign because you will know exactly how the dream works, but don't expect it to be exactly like what you wrote the dream no matter how much effort you put in because your subconscious will add in things. This method I guess is a variation of using dream signs to get lucid, but in a way it's not because you are kinda forcing it. I will be happy to answer any questions you have about this technique, and experts I would love to know if there is something that you think I should change or add.

Yeah this would work. Not for me though, no matter how much I visualized each day that I was in a desert meditating, I never dreamt about it. Looking at pictures of where you want to go will definitely imprint that picture on your mind and you'll have an easier time conjuring up that image if you're not spontaneously there in a dream. And like you said, good for motivation aswell.

      Thanks Matte87,
I'm glad you think this will work, however I'm sorry that it will not work for you. I too am pretty bad at visualising in the day but when I'm falling asleep I tend to get small fragments of what I am Imagining coming in the form of pre-sleep hallucinations. Anyway thanks again for approving this technique anybody who is good at visualising want to give it a try? Anybody with a Tulpa this should work for like a charm for you.
