Yes it does, negatively. Marijuana effects your cannaboid receptors in your brain which makes it harder to remember things on the short term. So in other words your awareness and dream recall will be significantly weakened. You may still be able to achieve lucidity but if you do you may find remembering your lucid dreams to be a challenge.

Also, marijuana's effect on your brain is much like how TV effects your brain after watching for a long time. Your mind becomes sort of numbed and it becomes easier to focus less and kind of just enjoy yourself.

Marijuana makes a poor lucid aid, although there are other drugs and supplements that are also legal and provide a much stronger benefit.

I think rice is one, try rice.

NOTE: This is from speed reading through these forums.

Lucid Dreaming Tier: 4/5 (Most of my dreams remembered are lucid, there are hardly times which I'm not.
Dream Control: 2/5 (I can do it anytime I choose, the problem is that it burns me out in the dream
Dream Guide: Kuhn (Or maybe it's Kun)

I don't know much about rice's quality as a lucid aid but I can tell you that galantamine (Extracted from the Red Spider Lily) & choline (Extracted from banana's) in combination are currently the most popular. There are manufacturers that sell pills of them already combined together for the purposes of lucid dreaming.

I ordered mine 2 weeks ago and I'm still waiting on them to arrive, but there are other forum members who have experienced a significant difference using this product. Please be careful when using them though as they are drugs, understand what the recommended dosages are. Also, don't think these pills are a ticket to an LD, they simply give you an easier time achieving it by improving your dream recall, and vividness of your dreams.

If you have done absolutely no research or even bothered to try achieving an LD naturally don't expect the pills to do much as far as achieving lucidity is concerned.

      Try this,
Advanced Dream Nutrition: Lucid Dreamer Product
But be warned that I have read from countless sources that any lucid dream pill considerably increases the change of Sleep Paralysis, which can be a terrifying experience. So if you are scared of waking up and having your worst nightmare crawl on you while you can't move then this is probably not for you

Well, I've been binge smoking for the past 4 months or so, everyday with fault, and I'd say I've probably had about 5% recall of what I usually have.

Yesterday was my first night sober... BOOM, lucid.

From roughly 6 years experience smoking, it's a no-no for dreaming.

I've read that it also represses REM. So bad combination if it messes with your memory too.

And I doubt your parents would let you smoke pot either, would they? ; -) I would certainly want my kids to at least tell me they were thinking about it, curious, and ask me what I think, just to have the conversation. Ryan Hurd did an excellent review of Galantamind, a product similar to the one linked to above. Review of Galantamine: the Lucid Dreaming Pill | dream studies portal

true, my parents would never let me smoke but parents would have no way of knowing that. But my parents would definitely notice if i ordered any of the products online.

I have no problem with marijuana, although I did notice that with some people it enables a very poor lifestyle, remember moderation is always key. When I become a parent and my kid is over 20, I'll gladly smoke a joint with him/her.

If you want it then just have it shipped to the house next door and make sure no one needs to sign for it. Use the tracking number to accurately gauge when it arrives then pick it up yourself from the other house. This is what I use to do

I smoked for 6 years and never got caught by ANYONE. After a pickup I use to have this small pouch that carried my bowl, hemp wick, bud, and lighter and I would attach it under some mechanical components in the engine bay using a clip-on. I also bought a re-useable air-tight sealed bag that came with a pump. I never used normal bags as dogs can smell through that, but not through air-tight sealed bags

I always smoked inside the mechanical room of my house, so all the smoke would go in-between the walls and no one ever noticed it. Also, ALWAYS take your shirt off when smoking and blow upwards, the smell does stick to your clothes. And always have some eye drops-near by to take out the redness in your eyes.

One last note, NEVER buy from sketch people, always and only friends.

Sigh, they execute you here for dealing any kind of drugs, and if you get caught with them its a guaranteed 4 year prison sentence. So I haven't smoked in over a year, I envy all of you.
