So I had this dream last night, quite unlike anything I've ever experienced before. It started out like a lot of my other LD's, as I was laying in bed I started to feel this vibration buzz, not constant but just like a tiny surge every 20 seconds or so. Then, I realized I could be lucid, got up, did a RC, and low and behold I was dreaming! So I went outside, and started to run in preparation of trying to fly (sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't). So as I was running I noticed music was playing. As I flew up into the air the music instantly changed into intense rock music.
So here's the weird part. As I was flying, in the distance I saw a couple of buildings. These buildings came out of the ground and started spinning and rotating. They went pretty fast, until they turned into colored squares, no longer resembling a building but just outlines of normal squares, still spinning. So as I got closer and closer to these squares (this whole experience lasted only 1 minute tops), a series of images started flashing right before my eyes. They were going so fast that I could not discern anything tangible, but rather just various landscapes and such. Most of the images were still shots, or with very little movement. But then, since I was so worried about waking up and trying to maintain this state, I ended up just waking up...
It was so crazy! Unlike any dream I've ever had before, and I can't stop wondering what it was or what it all means. It brings to mind how lots of people say they see their life flash before their eyes before they die. I think I may have come close to achieving this state once before, as I came to a point where I became so lucid that I floated right through a series of walls and bookshelves, one right after the other, and I was thinking that eventually I'd just see these super fast images if I could get going fast enough. This time though, I was completely unaware of my body. It was like I was just a consciousness floating there, being shown all these images.
What do you guys think? I'm so confused...
