Thread: Lucid Dreams Blurring Out

I'm getting a peculiar problem, I achieve lucidity calmly and don't get super excited. Everything is vivid and I feel comfortable in the dream, all is going as planned and I'm enjoying the dream no problems. Then all of a sudden the dream just blurs out to blackness without warning or reason. If I focus on an object or image from the dream I was having I can bring it back to life and continue where I left off, but eventually it fades out again and I have to repeat the process of focusing.

I have no idea why this happens, I'm not getting to excited and it just comes without warning. Sometimes when I try to revive my dream I just end up in another dream or I just wake up. Its pretty frustrating as I don't think its a stabilization issue. The only times it has happened is when I started to take 5-HTP before going to bed. Could it be because of the super vivid effects of 5-HTP? I thought that it might just be a DEILD but I'm not 100% sure because I've never confirmed having one before, so I just want to make sure.
