      Lucid Idea

I had an Idea I dont know if its been invented or posted (most likely) If your cd or mp3 player has an alarm built into it before you go to bed listen to a soothing or soft song like classical music or something not loud for a bit and just relax and think about dreaming and etc. etc. at what say 5 hours of sleep make the alarm go off at the same volume and maybe in your dream you would hear the music and remeber yourself trying to become lucid and realize that your dreaming?

like hypnosis kinda? "when i hear this song i will realize that i am dreaming"

makes sense to me. why not use that technique with a custom brainwave in the background to raise ones awareness aswell. now that would help. i will try this bro good idea.

I leave a MP3 File play all night long. After a few weeks it becomes easier to fall asleep even with the volume approaching what could be considered loud. I use Fonix ISpeak 3.0 software which gives an audio voice to Word Documents -- type up a Auto-Suggestion Script and turn it into a MP3 or WAV file.

Not always, but a great deal of the time the Auto-Suggestion Audio is incorporated into the Dream Content. So, imagine you are in a dream when you start to hear an Audio File from out in the blue somewhere start to say "... Hey, Yoo, this is a Dream... you want to go Lucid, well here's your chance..."

I'm not entirely sure why some dreams incorporate the audio files and other dreams can effectively filter them out. But it is fairly likely that the Auto-Suggestion Audio Files have some value, in a hypnotic kind of way, even when they are playing to a sound asleep subject -- in the deepest levels of sleep there may be no effect, but the sleeper cycles through the various levels of sleep, I suspect there are moments when the Auto-Suggestion is effective.

ya, do what ive been doing lately: paste this into a free "talking notepad" on download.com

Tonight, I'm going to turn off the automatic pilot in my dreams and fly with awareness. Tonight, as i dream, I will somehow manage to recognize that i'am dreaming, while i'am dreaming. Something will happen in my dreams to trigger my awareness, and i will remember that i'am dreaming. the next time that i'am dreaming, i will remember that i am dreaming. i will question the world around me. i will perform multiple reality checks. i will realize that i'am dreaming. i will remain calm, and my lucid dreams will be long, and enjoyable.

save it to wave file. use an audio editor to cut off the watermark demo intro. put it in the background of a brainwave file on the "hypnosis subliminal" setting. make sure the voice is editted low enough so it works. put it on during sleep. tadda!

The only problem with your autosuggestion is that you are future tensing it and making it time specific... here, look at it again only this time in the NOW :

"Tonight I'm going...tonight I will...while I'm dreaming...something will happen... next time I dream...etc, etc . For autosuggestion you should keep the mind in the present and specify everything in the now, for instance:

Turn off the automatic pilot in your dream and fly with awareness. Realize and recognize that you are dreaming within the dream. Experience the Dream and know you are dreaming. Question the World around you. Do a reality check right now. Know that you are dreaming. THIS IS A DREAM. Remain calm. This dream will go on to be long and enjoyable.... etc
