Strange way to become lucid happened to me last night... Believe it or not.

My dream began as I was using my computer, there was an application named "Staggus Bot"(never saw that name before) and I decided to try it at first I thought it was a game, but I don't know why as I was playing I was thinking about Lucid Dreaming, and decided to do a reality check if something happened in the "game", my character flickered left and right so I went ahead and did an RC, I have never felt so much air passing through my nose it was the most lucid and vivid dream I've ever experienced. I became lucid and went into my bed who was just near because I couldn't believe what happened, and I lost lucidity there or I woke up I don't remember. I can't even understand how does that could ever happen in my dream... I don't blame you for not believing, I couldn't believe it myself...

The way I see it, all the reading and thinking about LDing and perhaps some practice you have been doing had trickled down into your dream. You got a whif of awareness, which made you do RC and got you lucid. That's how it should work. Unless I'm not understanding your post.

Thanks for the reply gab, to be honest, I don't even understand how did I even dream something like that... It was so creepy and weird lol

When you are aware during day, meaning you look at details around you, think about them, pay attention to them, same thing will start happening in your dreams and you suddenly "wake up" in a dream, notice your surroundings and become lucid.
