      Dry spell

      Hi all!

I used to be here more often in 2011/2012, some of you maybe remember me.

I have been interested in LDing since 2009 (with a break longer than year). In my good times, I used to have 5 to 12 LDs per month. Now I am in a dry spell. I have had only 11 LDs since August, most of them very short, and I had no LD since January. I tried DEILD many times and practiced WBTB a few times, but with no success. Since August I had 2 breaks from LDing (both shorter then month), because I didn't have LDs. Now I perform RCs as often as I used to, write my DJ (less rigorously). I don't always go to bed on time nowadays, but the dry spell lasted even when I had a regular sleep schedule.

I definitely have a motivation. I still want to lucid dream because of the things I can do there. Moreover my girlfriend is interested in LDing, but she isn't successful either. She had 2 LDs, but it is about 3 moths ago. She still tries to LD very actively and she has a perfect dream recall (much better than mine). We often discuss the topic and we both want to have LDs very much.

I used to have great LDs with Galantamine/Choline. When I took G+C again in December (in dose that used to work for me), it didn't have any effect at all. I couldn't be caused by desensitisation, because I hadn't had G+C for a few months before. Now I don't know if I should try it again with 4mg Galantamine or if I should try 8mg, because 4mg didn't work for me last time. I hope that after I have a long and memorable LD, I will get back to the track of having several LDs every month.

I will be happy if you post any advice.

PS: I don't know if it is the cause, but fall asleep easier than I used to (but it still usually takes over half an hour) and the difference is apparent especially when I go back to sleep after WBTB (I fall asleep again in 10 minutes now, but it used to be about 45 minutes. However, I cannot practice WBTB later or longer, because I am woken up by my family in the morning). Also I wake up during night (and notice it) much less then I used to. That's a problem for MILD and my dream recall is worse than it used to be.

I thank you for you help beforehand.
