      Angry LD's short and unstable

I have been trying to stabilize some recent LD's, but I always end up with some weird glitchy things.

      1. The LDs I have are amazingly short: "Wow, I'm dreaming!" -poof-
      2. I sometimes feel like I can't open my eyes in the dream, because it keeps twitching, shutting and opening and it just feels weird in general...

These things prevent me from the actual dreaming part. How could I fix them? Is it just my mindset?

I would suggest you check out this tutorial: Dream Stabilization and Clarity Tutorial - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views

Btw, your issues are quite normal for the first few lucid dreams but as you practice you will get better at it, so don't give up! Best of luck in your LDing efforts.

You may say I'm a dreamer.

Maybe you are just getting too excited? Happens often to beginners. Just be calm and keep practicing, i'm sure they will become longer with practice. And if you can't open eyes in the dream, try using a bit of dream control and take whatever blocks your vision off your head, like a blindfold or such and expect vision to return. Also it helps to not overthink about it, once i had problem with dream length and was trying to figure out stuff, but then i stopped worrying about it and the length of my lucid dreams stabilized.
And yeah, stabilization techniques can help, check out that tutorial JoannaB linked to.

I've had that eye thing in one of my lucids. Problem was, I'd just fallen asleep with my head on my arm, so it turns out one of my eyelids was "stuck" on my arm or whatever, preventing me from really opening it in the dream. I managed to force it open in the end though, but it took a while :p
