Unhappy i don't remember people or conversations...

When I wake up from my lucid dreams, or just regular dreams, I almost never remember what they said to me or what I said to them. The second problem I have is with remembering who that person was. If it's not close family or good friends I can't remember who they were. It's frustrating because I can't write it down in my dream journal. I mean, i can but what's the point if I don't know who and what the person said. It's especially frustrating in lucids, because of the possible insight the DC's might give...I don't really know what to do about this...any help?

I have a similar problem with people. A lot of times, I encounter a morph of 2 or 3 people. The DC will look similar and have a combined personality of two people. When I get this in a dream, I just record "a person that kind of reminds me of _____" or "a person I don't recognize".

Do you get the feeling when you wake up that you should know, and you just can't remember? Can you remember emotions of conversations?
If you're ever fed up with life, try having kids. It'll never be the same...
Plus you can do all that cool kid stuff again without looking like a creep. Bounce House, here I come!!!

Everyone else has a picture down here so here's the best band ever...

Quoting exactly what DCs said is pretty hard, for me it only works if I write it down within 1-2 hours after waking up.
Also forget quoting, it's not necessary, the aim of a DJ is to write down your dreams as clearly as you can, whether it's 100% accurate or not.

That's exactly my problem! When I wake up, I just know that somewhere in my head I remember and know that person, but it's locked away somewhere...When I try to remember I just see a shade. I do remember the emotions during these conversations and sometimes the subject, but never full sentences...

For me this just happens in some non-lucids. Must vary. Try to remember the conversation as soon as you wake up.

I think that most of the time when you can't seem to put your finger on who the DC is, it's because they were probably some random person from a random event from way back, like a waiter at a restaurant you ate in 7 years ago. It happens to me a lot too, and I try not to worry about it. Instead, I'll just journal all I can about it, and be as descriptive as possible with what they wore, or any particular trait they exhibited in the dream. Usually, when they show up again, they tend to wear or do the same things, and that's how I know it's the same person though not exactly who it was. As for conversations, try to recall what things your talked/thought about the previous day. For me personally, most of the time the conversations I have with DC's are related to something I also thought about during the previous day. So I try to rethink and luckily, I manage to retrieve some information and remember some bits of the dream conversation. You can also try mantras before bed, telling yourself you'll pay attention to people and dialogues in your dreams. good luck

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

thanks for your share on this! but I know that those people are certainly people that I 'know', from friends to famous persons...I'll definitely try to recall my past day conversations! It's also good to just freshen up your memory a bit. As for mantras I'll try to do them thanks!
