Haha, nah it is not that easy, but it would be more likely to happen. I mean, if you become lucid, your mind will not be occupied with thinking about how your Dream Characters will act etc. at least mine is not, at least not if I don't plan on doing something specific with DCs. But if you actively try to change something, it is likely to happen.

Don't let your mind be occupied so much about the questions, my advice would be just try stuff out.

Alright, I will. ...As soon as I can stop waking up due to and/or upon becoming lucid. =p I'm hoping I'll be able to get them to be realistic enough to be able to talk to them a little.
