Real life training in an LD?

Have any of you seasoned lucid dreamers used lucid dreaming to train for real life? I have never successfully been able to "rehearse" for real life in an LD. I was wondering if there are any success stories in the DV community from seasoned LDers who were able to use Lucid dreaming to positively impact there waking life.

I am following a career of writing, and dreaming has been the best resource for material I could have wished for. It has inspired countless stories, poems, and philosophical ideas. I'm also active as a surrealist, and much of my art has its beginnings in my stranger dreams, to see what I mean click here - these symbolic combinations and visual metaphors ect. are something I often dream about. Sure thing you can learn a lot of things in a lucid dream, and they'll have impact on your real life, however it depends on person that how much. It's likely that whatever you practies in you dream, it'll be somewhat easier in real life.

Changes for me... never really tried any in a lucid dream, if it counts, then some parkour moves are easier to do (nothin big).

Your dreams in themselves are already used to help you learn and "train" for your real life.

The dream experience is a total experience of your ego, of what makes you.

I do get what you mean by training though, but I just want to make you aware of that paying attention to your dreams can help you grow even more.

I have used dreams to overcome fears in my life like the approach anxiety of walking up to a girl.
Get rid of the fear of the unknown. Learning to focus my intent which is the way you navigate in the dream world but how you work effectively in the waking world. I have also practised some le parkour skills in my dream to get used to the idea and then do it in waking life, like sideflips, backflips, wallflips yeah mostly flips..

I have also used dreams to not fear stressful events such as a presentation or a live performance.

The possibilities are endless, however since every obstacle or fear really is in the mind, the mind is the best place to sort it out.
