      Problem with LD

So i have noticed this problem i have with getting a LD.
So basically i get pretty vivid normal dream, it's very real, but some parts a obviously impossible to be in real life. But I still can't trigger LD, or try to RC. And when i wake up, immediately (1 or 2 seconds) i understand that it was a dream.

How do i progress this ? Also are there anything i can do to induce or increase chances of LD trough out the day ? I try to do RC trough out the day like this: 1) remember about RC 2) Look around 3)Look at hands, count fingers and then push one finger trough hand palm.

Only i haven't tried ADA technique.

      So any tips ?

Keep at it, Keep doing reality checks and eventually it'll be second nature, even in dreams. Make sure to really consider the question and it might help to always assume you're dreaming. ADA couldn't hurt either.

Yes...assume you are dreaming when you RC and prove yourself wrong.

Are there things that I shouldn't do during the day or before bed (like listen to music or watching movie or something) ?

Certain drugs (cannabis especially) suppress REM sleep meaning less dreams. They say alcohol suppresses REM sleep too, but for me it's the exact opposite so who knows. Music won't hurt your chances of LDing and I doubt watching movies would have much of an impact either.

Intense tv before going to bed isnt good. Mild stuff that you watch with only half interest seems ok to me.

Ah okay, luckily for me i don't use any drugs or alcohol.

Also , if i go to bed at 10:30PM and wake up at around 5:00AM or 6:00AM (around 7 hours of sleep) is enough time to get a LD ?
