Drugs in Lucid dreams?

I'm talking about the strong ones. Mushrooms, acid, DMT (the dream version, I know this is what causes dreams in the first place?) yeah I might try some in a lucid. Anyone ever exp. drugs in a LD? They probably would be better than WL. DREAMS are awesome!

I've taken acid in a dream. It sort of worked but not really. A lot of the cool effects of psychedelic drugs comes from the way they distort your perception of reality, and since your not perceiving reality in a dream it doesn't really work. In the dream I saw slight visuals, like patterns on top of things. I also felt a body buzz. Some other things like the vibrancy of colors already happens in lucid dreams, which makes me think that if you've had the experience of hyper sensitivity or things like synesthesia that LSD can cause you could just replicate it in the dream without actually taking the drug, just thinking about it maybe. But some of the other stuff, like amplification of senses and loss of ego(becoming part of something other than yourself, kind of hard to put this into words) didn't really happen. If you want to have crazy visuals in a dream there are other ways to do it, but I don't know them. I once fell through the floor and started having massive closed eye visuals in a LD, but it was one of my first and I have no clue how I did it. I think that the spiritual ecstatic states that you can reach on psychedelics can also be reached in dreams, but I don't know how to do this, probably requires more dream control than I have.

Yes, all of those. And all at once =P But it's better in non-lucids. If you're lucid, you can do anything anyways... but they are still fun haha Making you own stuff up is cool too. Happened to me by accident the first time. magic oranges yummy

or actually It would be better to make your own drug and decide on the intensity, what the trip will be like or what not. ^ genius. in my own experience though, i've had many dreams in which i've smoked cannabis, but the majority of them didn't replicate the high well, i'd just feel "weird" in the dream. i did have one recently though that unlike all the others, felt almost exactly like a real cannabis high. it was a non-lucid dream, but the giggliness, the body vibe, and the visual distortions were all perfect. i woke up surprised that it was just a dream because of how real it felt.

Smoking weed usually has the same effects for me in a LD, not always in non-lucids though.

I might have to try cannabis first and see how it goes. My made up drug would most likely be a Euphoric/Hallucinatory type.

I've recently been so interested in trying DMT in a lucid dream. I haven't become lucid in a while so I haven't been able to try it, but I heard that Terence Mckenna said that you can have the same experience from DMT in a lucid dream as you would in waking life depending on your level of lucidity and control. It sounds very possible. Your body-mind would know exactly what it's like if it's true that you experience it on a nightly basis. Just let go of any assumed effect and let it happen. You're already essentially tripping on it anyway, so I would assume that using dream control to amplify it, especially while being in a conscious state of mind, would be a perfectly valid way of experiencing it as if you had smoked it in waking life. Plus I've heard many accounts of people who have done it both in a lucid dream and in waking life and had very similar experiences, whether the first time they even tried it was while lucid or awake [edit] also, I'm curious to see what smoking weed would be like in a lucid, because I usually feel like I'm lucid dreaming when I'm high

Weed is exactly the same for me in non-lucids or lucids. EXACTLY the same as waking life! I was shocked the first few times xP

I've done cocain, and weed two times in dreams. There might be more....but I forgot. I remember the last time I did weed in ta dream, everything was psychedelic and weird.....sounds more like LSD or acid xD

Smoked marijuana in a few dreams though nothing happened.. Was given psilocybin mushrooms in a dream once and more or less immediately saw geometrical patterns coming out on each side of a screen playing James Bond

Have you done cocaine or weed in WL? Nope. But my sister did all of that. Shrooms, k2, weed, LSD,Ecstasy etc. When she was younger so I've heard a lot of stories

I've had two dreams where I've shot up heroin. The first one was lucid and I lost lucidity and almost shot up, but then gained it back and was like what the hell am I doing. And the other one I actually shot up but I think I woke up soon after. I've not shot up in real like, never will hahah. But have done a lot of opiate pain meds, so that has influenced those dream. And watching requim for a dream and trainspotting has also influenced the one non-lucid dream where I shot up. So that's the hardest drug I've done in a dream. I've also taken pain meds in dreams but they don't usually feel the same, but one time It did. I've also done weed in a few non lucids but I never got high. There's a lot of drugs I'd try in a lucid that I'd never do in RL, but I'd never know if it was the same feeling, just the feeling of what I'd imagine it to be.

That just reminded me of the non-lucid where I smoked crack. I doubt it felt anything like crack really would, I've never tried it. It was more of a body buzz than an upper effect though.

damn, today I had a dream that i ate some shrooms.(non lucid) was freaking scary, but the most intense body high. even though I've never done it in WL, my body felt like it was melting.

Weed made everything fuzzy saw skrillex while smoking it. Acid made it a nightmare somehow..
