I might have been lucid ...

So I was in this dream where aliens were invading and these two girls were hiding out with me. Then when I see my own brother playing cards with his mates (totally ignoring the invasion), I do the nose-plug RC and the dreamscape changed. I was back in my own bed, but I sort of realized I was dreaming at that point. I don't know how I knew, but I guess I just did (wow, that doesn't make sense). I jumped up and spun around while staring at my hands and repeated, "I'm dreaming, I'm dreaming, I'm dreaming!"

I go outside and then I really want to fly, but I couldn't. So I just conjured up a flying motorcycle and just drove off into the air. After about ten seconds I lost control of lucidity and it went back to being a normal dream. I woke up and I was half-excited and half-confused. I wasn't sure if I was dreaming of being lucid, or if I was actually lucid, 'cause it felt so damn real. I could feel the vibrations of the bike and the wind in my hair.

Anyway, I'm not sure if I was lucid or not. Um, help?

You indeed were lucid for a short period of time I guess. You controlled the dream so yes you were lucid. You also encountered something called a false awakening at the beginning of your dream. And congratulations on your LD!

This definitely sounds like a lucid dream. No one can tell you for sure, only you can determine whether it was a lucid dream.
Don't doubt yourself too much though, I know it can tempting to chalk up a real lucid dream as a false lucid because you are not very experienced and don't know how lucid dreams should "feel", but don't. It only discourages you.
Btw, if it was a false lucid, you'll know soon enough. Once you have a high level lucid dream you will easily be able to tell the difference between a false lucid and a lucid dream.

p.s. It is VERY common for lucid dreamers to become lucid for no reason. I've had dozens of lucid dreams in which I just suddenly noticed I was lucid but didn't remember how, why, or even when. Some lucid dreams feel like I had always been lucid, yet I know I wasn't. It's a very strange experience for sure.
My Lucid Dreaming Motto - "I have walked upon the the surface of a burning star. Observed events so infinitesimal and instantaneous that they can barely be described as having occurred at all. You... you're just a dream character. And this world's most powerful dream character poses no more threat to me than it's smartest cupcake." - Dr. Manhattan (kinda)
