"The Grey Zone?" Strange dream portal entered..

Hello everyone, I am new to this site but I needed to have this dream reported somewhere. Hopefully someone can help me find more information on this occurrence. Last night I had the most realistic, yet unimaginable dream. In this dream I was very lucid, I have had the ability to lucid dream on and off for 2 years now. But something was strange about this dream. The dream started out like a normal dream, but at some point I walked down a set of stairs that was some kind of portal, it brought me to this place where it felt like I was remotely viewing my dreams (I could even see my actually self as a dream character) in this realm everything felt very real, there was nothing strange or off about this environment, it did not feel like a dream at all. Everything was very vivid and I felt as if I was awake. In this realm I could travel through my dreams and even reverse time so I could go back to dreams I had earlier in time (could travel back as far as a week in my dreams). The place I was in felt very strange and erie but at the same time I could control everything like a lucid dream. Midway through my dream I left this portal and popped back into my normal dreamscape. Upon my return to the normal dream realm I asked a few people in my dream if they knew what was going on. They said I had traveled to the "grey zone", every person in my dream scape had the same name for this realm and they were all very aware of its existence in the dreamscape. After entering this "portal" once I was able to do it 2 or 3 more times while still asleep. Upon waking up I felt almost no memory loss of my dream and remember very vividly this place my dreamscape characters called "the grey zone". If anyone has ever traveled to this area in their dreams or has information on "the grey zone" please reply to this with your feedback! Thank You, Ry

there is a movie called "The Grey Zone" about an uprising in Auschwitz. And there is a feline mystery book by author Dulcie Schwarz. Could you have encountered either of those to provide you with the name?
