subconscious mind, The ultimate data recorder?

Hi guys, this thought have been lingering in my mind for quite some time, but i never got satisfying answers.
its been proved that the subconscious mind keeps recording each and every detail in your waking life weather you are conscious of it or not, this information can be accessed through hypnosis and a person is able to recall the information very accuratly.
So i have been thinking that if our subconscious is constantly recording information like a certain boring lecture at a univercity then will he be able to replay the whole lecture in his lucid dream with all the facts and figures?
if i summon my subconscious mind in the form of my teacher will he teach the same contents as was in real life???

Subconsciousness is still a very mysterious thing . But from what I've heard , it can do even more than just recalling things , you haven't even noticed. It can warn you about something , predict something , even know things that you didn't know. So it seems like there is some kind of "database" of information in our body that is just there , with secrets of things.

I've been wondering this as well. Actually, I fully intend to conduct an experiment when I have more LDs under my belt to see if what you're talking about is true or not. Please, please, if you have a lucid dream in the near future and you try this out, then can you come back and tell what happened? I'm really interested in knowing!

i do ocassionally dream that i am in my uni and attending a lecture, the concepts which are explained by the dream teacher are fairly accurate, one time i was in such a dream, my teacher was giving the lecture on the role of capacitors in filters( i am doing Electrical eng), after few days the chapter of filters started and i was astonished that all the concepts which i learned in the dream applies to reality. but all these dreams are non lucids, so i really wanna try them in LD.

So you mean that you've had precognitive non-lucids about your studies? That's pretty cool. I can't say that I'm the same, but I wish I was!

I'm hoping that I'll have another lucid dream tonight. Perhaps I'll try to do this then. If I do have a lucid dream and try it out, then I'll report back to you.
