More sleep is always good! Sleeping more works a lot like WBTB in the way it increases your awareness in your dreams.. Also, when you sleep longer, you get to enjoy some really long and vivid dreams! Getting more sleep won't ever hurt, even if you're waking up at a different time than you're used to. |

I wouldn't recommend sleeping all day or anything because that can mess up your sleep schedule in general, but I've had some good success with oversleeping by an hour or two. When I don't have anything to to that day I try to sleep until I feel like I'm ready to get up, then go back to sleep for just a little while longer. I think the extra awareness that comes with being "ready to get up" helps you have more vivid dreams and more likely to have LD. Same thing with naps during the day. |
