Thread: So confused with this dream!

I just had the most confusing dream that I think I've ever had, and I was hoping someone on this forum could help explain it to me (knowing the great people there are on here!). I think the timeline of which I've slept today may have influenced this weird experience as well;

I got out of school around 2:30, and was very tired all day. I eventually fell asleep on our chair around 7:30 PM, being woke up around 10 PM. After that, I stood awake watching T.V. until 11, and went up to my bed to go back to sleep as I have school tomorrow. Until 11:20, I was in this very on-the-border-line consciousness state of sleep where I knew I was still not asleep, but it was... I don't know how to word it, like I was basically asleep. As if I was hanging on to consciousness by a thread; the entire time though I was chanting my mantra while falling asleep. I kind of woke up again for a second, to get more comfortable and went back to sleep chanting my mantra in my head (I become aware of waking up after every dream.) I fell asleep eventually.

After I 'fell asleep' (because it barely felt like I did) I remember feeling very muggy and still awake. All of a sudden, I felt very weird. It was like there was a disturbance in the force or something, so I got out of bed and it was as if the air was so thick that it was hard to move at all. Like someone had turned off the gravity in my house, I had to push through to move my arms and legs to walk. Out of nowhere, I began floating to the ceiling and not being able to ground myself. So realizing that this was probably a dream, I did a reality check anyways (holding my nostrils closed and still able to breath out of them) to reassure myself. I began floating around the house, going through the rooms and such. The only issue, is that presently my dream journal hasn't had a lot of entries because I've been very busy lately, which means that I didn't remember much of the dream I JUST had. Now, to the confusing part;

Next thing I remember in that dream is that I was in some neighborhood and I was still aware of that I was dreaming, I forget the transition from the previous setting to this but I remember being in this neighborhood and it was very, very dark with a auburn color being all around. I remember talking to some DC about how my dreams were always red colored and dark, and I also remember in this setting that I was trying to put techniques to use that I had read on these forums about changing the setting of a dream. I don't remember how that went, but I also remember being in this same neighborhood when I saw my friend going into this abandoned house on the street looking as if he was looting the houses. I walked up to the house, and saw a golf club bag outside. So naturally, I got one of the golf clubs out and charged in there to stop him from looting. At first, I hit him with the golf club but strangely it started falling apart and it was weird.

Once again, I forget the transition but next thing I know I'm at Kings Island in the dream waiting in line with my brother. It's so confusing, but it's as if I had a lucid dream inside of a lucid dream inside of a dream. I remember waking up in line, like I fell asleep in line and then woke up to start telling my brother that I finally had a lucid dream again while in the dream. I remember saying to him "It was full length, longer than any other." and he just kind of nodded, and went on.

That's when I woke up, completely confused at 12:20 from the weird array of dreams and events that had just happened. If anyone at all could explain what just happened, or if they have had a similar situation that would be great! If this was a lucid dream, that makes me happy; but I woke up immediately from the dream after it ended (perhaps because of the mantra) and wrote two pages of it down in my dream journal, so it's hard to believe that was just a normal dream.
