Im guessing that you think about this man during the day, and so it comes back in your dreams. Its nothing to worry about, completely natural. Welcome to DV! |

I've been in a relationship with my current boyfriend for a year and 3 months. And the past week i've been having a reoccurring dream about another guy. Someone who I know, but don't know personally because he's famous (yes, I know this is silly), and I actually got to meet him 2 weeks ago at a concert. In my dream this guy is my boyfriend, and it feels so normal to me in my dream, I even went as far as kissing him in this last dream. and when I wake up I feel so strongly for him. Whenever I see a picture or video of him, I feel as if i've known him forever, and like he knows me too, but i know that's not the case. I'm just curious if my dream has any meaning other than the obvious of me fantasizing. And also, my feelings for my real boyfriend feel pushed to the side, because I feel like i'm more connected to the guy in my dreams. |

REALITY CHECK
Yea I agree. That looks normal to me. Fantasies tend to take up our attention, so you might feel your other relationships slowly moving down the priority list. |

It just goes to show that if we give much energy to our thoughts during our waking moments they will carry on into our dreams. This is nothing new, but it does show that the energy in our waking moments also exists in dreams, therefore it's kind of like a circle of energy - give more energy to those thoughts in your waking moments and you will dream about the same thoughts - and since you dreamed about those thoughts and that energy - it will be something you will continue to experience through out your day. |
