      Logic Foggyness in dreams

Over the last few times I've had lucid dreams they were kinda "foggy" in that I do not have good dream logic and forget to do what I planned as well as forgetting to rub my hands to make things clearer. Because of this almost all of my lucids were like normal dreams. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks!

      I struggle with this too.

I feel the way to fix it is to have a stabilization routine in mind that you'll do upon becoming lucid. Also have dream goals in mind that you want to achieve after doing your stabilization routine. Then practice this stabilization routine by visualizing doing it while falling asleep and by actually doing in your lucid dreams until it becomes automatic. Visualizing your routine and motivating yourself to do it will help you remember it.

For example, the stabilization routine I have in mind to work on is, upon becoming lucid, I'll do a reality check (nose plug) and say "I'm lucid". Then I say "stabilize" and stabilize the dream by rubbing my hands and looking at the details in the environment around me to clarify and stabilize the dream. Then I'll say "what's my mission?" Once I have my lucid goal in mind, then I'll focus on my achieving my goal, keeping my "eyes on the prize" so to speak. It's easy to get distracted by things in your dream though so we to keep focus.

So I had a lucid dream last night and when the dream faded I rubbed my hands together and the stabilization failed. So when I tried to do a deild and went back I decided to stabilize from the beginning to make it as realistic as possible. Unfortunately this had the opposite effect in that it got rid of my dream for good, does anyone know what happened?

It may have been a rare occurence, or maybe this particular technique of stabilizing just doesn't work well with you. The important thing is not to let this incident define the rest of your lucids, and convince yourself that you can turn things around next time, because if you don't, you'll build up a schema or an expectation that this will keep happening in the future, which in turn will indeed make it happen. Try different ways of stabilizing whenever you can, and experiment with what works well with you.

      Have a nice day

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

I have same problem. I have very clear lucid dreams but they always turn like normal dreams because i dont remember intention. If i plan to do something i do it when im lucid but im not fully aware of it. Fix for this is to always when you think of being lucid is bring more awareness and take the time to do it. Do simple math or try to remember something from reality like where you are sleeping but this might wake you up but it works really well.
