      My experience - Need help

So the other day I told a friend of these weird "dreams" I had a lot of them, don't remember when It started, I think I was 14 or 15. But I awaken in this paralyzed state, and couldn't open my eyes. After some time I was aware of what was happening, or so I thought, because every time I had this kinda dream at first I was struggling so hard to move, and scream for help (I am trying to scream, but nothing happens), didn't realize it was a dream, because I could see it was my room because my eyelids was cracked.

Recently I told my friend about my dreams, because the last one I had I tried to scream for help as I usually do, but this time I got screamed right back at, so I stopped and thought, I should never have tried to scream, it doesn't work anyway, and then the screaming stopped.

He then told me I am so lucky, that he have tried so many times to get lucid dreams, but are unable to get them, and he then told me that next time I should just relax, and then I would be able to control my dream.
I read up on Lucid dreams when I had from what I thought was my first lucid dream, when I was 14 or 15 I believe, where I was dreaming and realized this is a dream, and thought that It was probably a good time to wake up.

Well last night, I had this kinda paralyzed dream again, but this time it was different, I wasn't paralyzed and was able to open my eyes, and now when I am thinking it over, I'm not sure If I had a body at all.
Because at the same time I wasn't paralyzed, I kinda weren't able to move, even tho I did.

I awakened looking up I realized I wasn't awake and it was a dream, because my night light wasn't on, and pretty fast realized that this dream was just like the others just without the struggling, I then got scared, because a lot of things, but the main reasons, It was all new to me, and I am afraid of the dark. And closed my eyes and tried to summon a bunch of girls, nothing happen, I then laid down again, looking up on my celling, when suddenly this chines looking text appeared and then really got freaked out, closed my eyes, and woke up.

Normally after this kinda dream, I stay awake for some time after, because If I fall asleep right after I woke up, I would most likely get into the same state.

I would love to experience this kinda dream again, and be apple to explore some more.
I have no idea how to come into this state, I just sometimes do.

MikeTheNumbers! I understand how the first few lucid dream experiences can be scary, but it's best if you try remain calm. This is because if you think something scary will happen, it often will. You're completely safe as the whole experience is in your mind.

As for summoning girls, my favorite method is the behind the hand trick. You stick your hand behind your back and wait for a girl to touch it. It usually only takes a second or two. Then you turn around and usually a good looking girl is there. If you want to summon a lot of girls, you could try to find a place in the dream where there would be a lot of girls. For example, if the dream started in your house, you could go to the house next door or another room, expecting a lot of girls to be there.

What you describe could possibly be sleep paralysis. The next time this happens, there are a couple different options.

      1. You can move your facial muscles as those are unaffected by sleep paralysis because of their small size. This will help get you out of sleep paralysis quicker.

      2. If it is in fact a dream, you should be able to move around without a problem. Tell yourself that it is a dream, and that you can do whatever you want. Have confidence in that, then try something.
Also, you can close your eyes, and visualize something like a dream scene or a shape which can lead to a dream scene.

Waking up like this can be a great benefit if you can learn to work with the process. Good luck!

To help calm yourself down in a lucid dream, imagine success. Imagine being in a lucid dream, very scared, and imagine calming yourself down successfully. If you rehearse for the situation, you'll be more prepared when the time comes. Experiencing a few lucid dreams will also help calm you down as you will get more used to it.
