      Did I become lucid?

After practicing WILD for 4 days, I may have become lucid in a dream. I woke up almost instantly after but I heard this is common for beginners. The reason I'm not sure if it was true lucidity is that I didn't recognize any dreamsign or strange elements in my dream. One moment I was dreaming and then heard myself say "this is a dream" and then I woke up feeling my heart beat a lot faster.

Since I didn't recognize anything strange in the dream but just heard myself saying that, was this really lucidity?

If you realized you were dreaming, you were lucid. It's not necessary to notice anything strange first.

I'm not sure, but since you woke up feeling your heart beating a lot faster, then you where excited, probably because you became lucid, so it was probably a lucid dream but with low level of lucidity
