Indeed, Lucid dreaming is veeeery interesting and cool. There are 2 distinct ways to achieve one.
1. DILD - You fall asleep normally, and while in a regular dream, you realize you are dreaming.
2. WILD - While falling asleep, you let your body fall asleep, but you keep your mind awake. That way you can observe formation of your dreams and enter one, without losing consiousness from being awake, into being asleep and dreaming (while still keeping your awareness inside of a dream)
