      really?...lol

      Last night(after having multiple LDs the past few nights that were only a couple seconds long) i told myself the next time i had an LD to remember to stabilize. My subconscious got the message, just not exactly how i meant it. i preceded to have a dream where i did a bunch of stabilizing. i remember looking at my hands, rubbing them together, and also spinning in circles. the only problem is that i wasnt lucid to begin with nor did i become lucid during this dream(which makes me a little disappointed in myself because, come on that's a huge chance to miss out on). but hey, atleast i know i'll be able to stabilize next time!

      has anyone ever experienced this or something similar??

      Haha yeah. I told myself once that I wanted to fly in my next LD. I ended up having a nonlucid where I flew as if it was the most normal thing in the world.

      Good news is that usually when this kind of thing happens, you're embarking on having a full on LD. Things like what you mentioned, or say if you have a nonlucid where everyone is talking about lucid dreaming, are usually precursors to having an actual lucid.

      I remember a little while ago telling myself that in my next lucid dream I would practice controlling water. Then I went to sleep and spent an entire non-lucid dream wandering around in a swimming pool..
