Lightbulb What do you do in your LD?

So, say as soon as you guys realize that you are lucid, what is the first thing you want to do? Do you have a plan in your head ready, such as- well next time I have a LD, I will try walking through a wall or something similar? Or do you just follow the scenario?

The first thing I do before everything else is do a reality check, immerse myself in the surroundings, anchor myself in the dream, increase my lucidity layer(ReeceJones87 on youtube for more on layers), and carry out with my current dream goal. In this case, it's to transform into a Lucario.

After I RC and stabilize, I often try and achieve whatever goal I'm working towards. That would be the task of the year, atm. If I don't have any goals I'll just go with the dream or do whatever I feel like. Sex is often an idea, but I try not to follow through with that because there's so many other things to do!

Most of the time after achieving lucidity I simply walk around the dream and admire it. I also tend conduct experiments on the dream world (currently have 2 experiments in progress).

My Lucid Dreaming Motto - "I have walked upon the the surface of a burning star. Observed events so infinitesimal and instantaneous that they can barely be described as having occurred at all. You... you're just a dream character. And this world's most powerful dream character poses no more threat to me than it's smartest cupcake." - Dr. Manhattan (kinda)

Ahh I was just wondering that, how do you avoid having sex? That's almost always the first thing on my mind and when I wake up I am so annoyed that I wasted a good LD on that nonsense. Any ideas?

The problem with lucid dreams, is that the consequence free world makes your super-ego (which deals with things like guilt, empathy etc.) completely shut down. After all, why feel guilty when you have nothing to be guilty about? As such, the id (selfish desires etc.) completely controls the ego (you). The only way to combat the id is to practice self-control in the dream, which I have only just succeeded in doing. Setting your intention beforehand can help with this.

Oh, and I personally enjoy exploring my deepest fears and other such subconscious ideas. Surprisingly cathartic.

I usually write down my dream plan in my journal of what Im going to do. Usually most of the times I always follow what I wrote down whether its exploring other worlds or just chillin with a girl. Also I like to ask the central awareness in the dream questions, youd be surprised of the answers you get. If you havent already Id suggest trying that.
