      LDing came back

So I haven't had a LD in Eons, probably a year. I had relocated south, then back north. Job issues etc etc. I'm back in a good place physically and mentally now. Recently I have concentrated on LDing. Doing the RC's through the day, relaxing more and basically trying to get back into it so to speak. I could feel a gradual progress. I would wake up thinking, wow, so close. Or why didn't I question that as a dream etc. Last night I was in a dream where I was telling my colleague how cool LDing was. I soon woke up and had the "Damm . why didn't it turn into a LD" thing. I didn't get disjointed though, instead, I told myself, "i'm going right back to sleep and will have a LD". IT WORKED !! I was back at work in the dream and someone needed my help. I said to myself "I'm going to have a LD" and did a RC. BANG !! I was lucid. I tried not to get too excited. I did tell my colleague not to worry, it wasn't a real issue. I was just walking around talking to DC's/colleagues, exploring stuff. I then saw a DC who I did not recognize. She told me to go outside to be involved in a movie that was happening. I smiled and went outside. There were Nazis shouting and pointing guns at me. I was just smiling and saying bring it on, that kind of stuff. They started shooting at me so I ran back inside. Anyway, I was still lucid inside and the best thing about this dream is, it was the longest I have ever been lucid. It seemed to last forever. Without doubt worth all the exercise and forum reading etc. I restarted my physical DJ and hope to have many more to report. Thanks for reading.

Good to hear. The long ones are, without a doubt, the best. Why did you run back inside after the "bring it on" bit? I'd have killed them.

When they started shooting at me it was chilling I guess. I wasn't afraid but I didn't want the dream to go down this route either. I guess egging on the situation wasn't the right thing to do in this case :-) What I didn't mention was. When I was back inside. My workplace had changed into a kind of school hall/assembly with lots of people stood. A guy with a Liverpudlian accent was walking up and down, translating for another German guy following. Shouting and giving orders. I went up to him and shouted at him in his accent, poking fun at him and laughing. It was strange but fun. I have no issues with Germans or people form Liverpool FYI :-) No clues where this came from.
