      Hello! Getting back into LDing!

Hey guys! So here is my story... I have been into lucid dreaming for about 3 or 4 years and had a few LD's along the way but I took a pretty long break once college started this past year. My recall dropped to near zero and I didn't have much time to devote to LDing at all. However, about 3 weeks ago my recall suddenly skyrocketed and it got be back itching for a LD again!! A few days ago I had my first LD in about a year, while it was short lived it was very fulfilling. I spent most of my time just looking at the detail in a piece of brick lol, I forgot how vivid dreams truly are!

Anyway I've lurked around this forum over the past couple of years and was more active in some other ones, but I believe if I am more active talking to others about dreaming it may increase my chances for LD's, we'll see. I can't wait to get to know you guys and start my Lucid Dreaming journey all over again!

I have a quick question however! Over the past three weeks I have been documenting my dreams on an app on my phone, do you think it would be worth while to invest in a physical journal? The app seems to be working but if there is any way I can further improve my recall I am all for it! Thanks!

      Hey, welcome to dreamviews.
I would definitely recommend investing in a proper dream journal. Firstly it looks way better, and secondly it keeps you motivated seeing all your dreams written out on paper in front of you.
I usually make my dream journal experience extra special. I write with a quill sometimes just because it looks cool, and my journal is filled with little thoughts and articles that pop into my head about dreaming. It's just much more special when you write it in a proper journal.

      Hi Jibas,

I'm in a similar situation to yourself,

I used an application/computer initially but it's way too easy to lose that data (which happened to me). Would recommend a pen and pad, plus you can sketch any images/symbols etc.

      Best of luck,

      Paul
