Eyes become uncontrollably rapid when trying to enter SP

Hello, last night I was trying to enter SP as soon as i went to bed. I managed to the the weird feeling in my legs then my whole body, thne I felt weightless, then really really dizzy. Then random pictures kept popping up(eyes closed). This was the furthest I had got, but then my eyes started rapidly moving about and twitching really quickly and uncontrollably, soon the SP things had completely gone

Anyone know what caused this, or how not to wake up from it?

I believe that the eyes twitching rapidly is the start of REM (Rapid Eye Movement) so it's completely normal! About the waking up thing, not too sure on that.

I had this a couple of times when doing WILD. It's cool to be aware of your eyes moving rapidly. But i didn't wake up. This went for about 10 seconds, then an image appeared and i was on my way to enter a dream.

So I take it your attempting a wild, Right? If so, These sensations are perfect to mask the sensation of lying in ones bed, for easy access into the dream world. BUT, You do not need to induce SP to successfully wild.

Then random pictures kept popping up(eyes closed)
When these pictures started popping up, were they sort of blurry and hard to make out? So you then tried to make them out, kinda thing? I know when i get to this point, and try to make out what it is that i'm seeing, my eyes will move VERY rapidly. I mean, Like.. too fast, haha. So instead of trying to make out the object/scene/picture , I relax and allow it to enhance, rather than try to willingly enhance it. If your mind is too conscious while your eyes are darting back and forth like this, It will begin to feel unnatural. Thus, becoming more aware of your body - leading to the wild attempt deteriorating.
