Thread: is this dreaming in real time?

Does this prove anything? My girlfriend says it's just my perception of time however i believe it's much more.

I have many lucid dreams, not only are many lucid, but in most i have long adventures that i think last long periods of time but i'll wake up after 2 hours and know i only perceived it that way.

The other night i had a dream where i was walking down the street. At that moment lucidity sort of came to me as it sometimes does. I began to look at my surroundings and noticed that i was walking at a normal rate and the houses i was passing also seemed to be at a normal rate of walking. With the realization that i had lucidity i decided to count my footsteps as i watched mailboxes/lightpoles/houses pass by at a rate in sync with my footsteps and my counting (1-one thousand, 2-one thousand....and so on) . I counted 86 footsteps and at that moment i decided that i would wake up and tell my girlfriend about this discovery as i somehow felt it was important. However, in a moment of selfishness i decided that since i had lucidity i would stay a while and have fun, in that instant i Jumped into the sky and flew onto my next adventure......


I had lucidity come to me at a young age. A couple of times i have had paralysis in a sleep state but was able to see everything around me, they were not pleasant encounters . I don't think i've ever had an outer body experience.

In my years of dreaming i think that in someway i visit other realities that my soul is living out other lives, as in our soul is infinite in the other realities. In one dream i was walking down a road talking with 4 strangers i had escaped some sort of war and as we were walking away i wanted to tell the strangers that i was from another "galaxy", this was the word that came to mind, i wanted to say earth but i knew they wouldn't know the word. I woke up before i could tell them.

I'm very interested in what these dreams mean? or how i can benefit from their "other worldly" knowledge as i know it has to be able to be tapped. I once had a dream where an older lady was on her knees placing cards in a strange order like "tarot cardish" and told me this was the way to access her world. I woke up and couldn't remember anything about the layout or where the cards went in relation to their numbers. Is this just my mind?

If anyone knows how to help with past life regression i would love that, it has yet to come to my mind when i am lucid and i really am interested in my past. please help
