Planting suggestions into your own mind while lucid

Is this possible ? Similar to hypnosis where the hypnotist will make you forget your name etc...
Can you become lucid and ask your subconscious to make you more confident, positive etc.. when you wake up .. I know this is probably a bit far fetched but you never know I guess.

Someone made a similar post, to have a sticking goal of becoming a famous musician.

Well, maybe it could happen, but I suggest not trying it.
Trying it would be like getting controlled and you have to do it. The only other option would be death,

I think you should try it, I'm going to do something like that. I think people that accomplish their goals really are willing to die for them.

I do wonder about what exactly hypnotic suggestions are supposed to mean. If you're nervous about doing a speech and someone hypnotises you - or you hypnotise yourself - and says, "You WILL be confident!" what's the product you get? What does the "confidence" mean? Do you really want to be confident? Would you want to be confident in the face of feedback that says your speech was rubbish? At what point would you want to stop being confident and start to doubt yourself? Probably if, half way through your speech people start going to sleep that might be a good time to stop being confident and start thinking about how to improve your speaking skills! I don't know the answer.
My LDing record, if you want to hear about it, is about 4 WILDs, 1 DEILD, and the rest DILDs.

I've noticed that frequently in LD discussions, setting prospective memory is confused with hypnotism. They are in fact, very different commodities.

"A third interest in this lab concerns strategies that are argued to improve prospective memory performance. One strategy that is growing in popularity is the implementation intention strategy. Implementation intentions, as described by Gollwitzer (1999), involve visualization of performance of the intended action accompanied by a clear statement that when a certain situation arises, a particular response will be made." http://http://www.psych.wustl.edu/learning/McDaniel_Lab/Prospective_Memory.html

There are exercises for improving prospective memory in LaBerge's book, EXPLORING THE WORLD OF LUCID DREAMING.
