Thread: Speaking with your subconscious or DC?

Hey all 1st time poster, ive had a few lucid dreams last year but gave up due to smoking to much weed but recently ive quit and came back to it and have being reading Robert waggoners book "gateway to the innerself" ive done alot of research over the years that corelates with alot he says my question is to all off yous who frequently speak to DC what have you found out about yourself from them or about real events? Also if yourve ever tried speaking to the awareness behind the dream what did you ask and how did it respond expected or unexpected e.g things you couldnt have possible known?
My goals with lucid dreaming is to explore the awareness in the dream not actually what my consciousness can do but what the dreaming mind can and determine wether it is only my subconscious or its connected to everything please share your experiences as I would love to hear

Just to kickstart it
I had a lucid dream the other night were a DC was chasing me with a dagger almost like the one off Aladdin it had symbols and it was crooked I managed to over power him put the dagger to he's neck and ask him what does he mean he responded saying only "shows how much your life is in order" and basically disappeared taking the dream into another direction I would love to hear stories about the dream awareness over DC though

Yeah I noticed that one AD but unfortunately like you stated its not quite at the level I was hoping where do you think would be best to post something like this as im quite curious but no one really talks about more just about having sex and flying etc

I don't know man, would think this is the right place. You might get responses later if you wait. I think you also might have better luck if you post more here, I personally hesitate to respond to people sometimes that are brand new because some people just register here on a whim, ask some questions, then never come back.

Yeah fair enough I registered about a month ago can't say I'm extremely active but it is the only lucid forum I go on wish more people were into the subconscious side of dreaming I can't wait to be able to ld every night just to ask the 100s of questions I have

Yea me too. Exploring the unconscious is a pretty big ongoing dream goal of mine as well. I think we all have a lot of wisdom buried deep down. I can't contribute any personal experience of finding out things about myself or real events from this, but my sister has done some things with this. Most people scoff when I even mention this but she has lucid dreams where she'll talk to relatives and sometimes they tell her if they're going to die soon or if something is wrong medically with them. Whether it's just intuition or some kind of magical power she has, she seems to have a pretty good accuracy rate, at least from what she's shared with me.

But the thing I love about lucid dreaming is that it's very much a find out for yourself kind of activity. When you get to the point of having LDs every night, the power to explore ideas you have every night becomes really exciting. Do you have any awesome questions to ask the unconscious right now? I would love if you could share some of your questions because I'll probably think it's fun to ask them too

I definitely agree, unfortunately though im not the greatest at becoming lucid at this point but it is continuing to increase as well as my in dream awareness of performing these goals that segment i wrote their was my first proper lucid dream in over a year. Haha yeah its hard to find people that take on board what lucid dreaming could actually transpire to, I was only just listening to a robert waggoner interview where he was explaining a exact same dream theme as your sisters being having, about hes dead dad telling him that hes mum will die in 6 years due to a heart condition which turned to be true, yeah that is true it wont allow you to progress any further than what your ready for or comprehend
uhh I constantly change which ones I would ask as I havent being becoming lucid oftenly enough but for some examples of ones i would like to ask and see what happens would be, show me the dream from a dream characters perspective that is around me or from your perspective speaking to the subconscious,
Or just asking the awareness behind the dream if it is my sub conscious or if it is the collective sub conscious of everything as I do hold Strong beliefs that we are all one,
introduce me to my dream guide
then of course personal questions such as show me the environment of my dream job and etc

Theirs alot more but I feel this post is long enough sorry aha
