Very deep sleep, poor recall of very short, blurry dreams

For the past 3-4 days my dream recall, which used to be good, has plummeted. I can barely remember a couple dreams which are only several words long, and are very blurry and short, sometimes only recalling a bunch of fragments that keep slipping from my mind's grasp. Along with this downfall I noticed came very deep sleep, and the weather changed from pleasantly chill to summer-warm (around 25-30 degrees Celsius, and my room is always hotter than it should be). Has this happened to anyone else? Is there any connection to these events or anything I could do about it? It's so frustrating to have all your recall drop out of a sudden, along with both DILD and WILD chances. I can't even WILD anymore because I wake up so exhausted and tired and confused even 2 hours before my usual waking time..

This is happening to me as well. I started practicing lucid dreaming about a month ago. My dream recall during the first 3 weeks was decent. I sometimes recalled 4-5 dreams in one night. But lately my ability to recall dreams has decreased. This morning I only remembered fragments of my dreams. And the day before I didn't remember a single dream. I don't know if it has to do with me stopping using supplements. I started using lucid dreaming supplements in the third week. Before that my dream recall had been decent, and I could remember plenty of dreams when I used those pills too.

Do you use a dream journal?

And if yes, I guess it just a period of time, I think we all have those days, or even weeks when we barely remember dreams or don't have lucid dreams for no particular reason.

Yeah I've been using a dream journal since I started. I guess it is normal, but frustrating nonetheless. I'm just hoping it's not something external causing it that could be stopped.

I have experienced a sudden absense of lucidity over the last week or so, after having had very many lucids during the first half of May. Here, the weather has also turned quite warm over this period of time, and my bedroom is undoubtedly too warm.

Warm, and especially hot, bedrooms are not conducive to proper functioning of the brain (and too much heat during the night may cause headaches on the following day). So keeping the bedroom well below 20 degrees Celcius is a very good idea.

So ... is this the real universe, or is it just a preliminary study?

I thought it was just me who was downhill for no reason... Perhaps it's the body adjusting to the new environmental settings? It would be interesting to see if some other people experience the same phenomena the other way around, when weather changes from hot to cold.

Oh, so the weather is affecting people? Interesting to know. Thanks for the info Voldmer. We should try to keep a good temperature in our bedrooms; open windows, sleep with thin covers or without, leave a fan on, etc

Just wanted to confirm it. It worked, I cooled down my bedroom last night and this morning I remembered 5 decent length dreams! Thanks again, hope it works for youse too.
