Dream within a dream, lucidity

Just woke from a short lucid dream, but the odd thing was, I was having a 'shared dream' with one of my dream characters from the main dream itself. The dream character brought it to my attention that we were dreaming, but the lucidity only lasted in the nested dream. It was interesting.

Anyone else have this happen before?

Dreaming from many points of view; you made up that character and performed the tasks of both. Its dificult to be aware that you were in both roles, and confusing, surprised you can remember as well.

I have been several different characters within the same dream before. Ive been many things, including animals and disembodied entities. I have many dream within a dream experiences in my lucids.
