Is it possible something to change your lucid dream, and one question about RC

Hello, I'm not very experienced lucid dreamer. I practice DILD. Sometimes when I dream something drastic changes. For example I dreamed a girl, but then the girl become another completely different person. Is this suppose to happen?
Also I don't want to spam the forum with threads so I will use post my second question here too.
My RC is to get 2 clocks and see the time if the time is different(for example the first one is showing 1:20 the second is showing 2:20) I'm dreaming if they are showing equal time (+/- 2 mins) I'm in reality. Is there any problem with this method since I didn't see it in the forum?

Is this on regular or lucid dreams? I'm assuming its a lucid, in which case this may happen for several reasons: you're not focused enough (which may cause the dream plot to shift), or it's simply the dreaming continue it's story even though you're lucid.

Wow! That reality check has to be one of the best ones I've seen I honestly never thought of carrying two watches, I think I'm actually going to try that now ahahaha xD That reality check is great: if you're in the habit of checking time, having 2 watches will be really helpful, by all means keep doing it Just remember that reality checks can also represent "baby steps" towards an attitude of self-awareness: as you reality check more and more, start to try and maintain an awareness of your state for longer periods of time. You can start by looking at your watches, and after questioning about your state, maintain that alertness for a bit longer.

Thank you for your response. I also want to mention that my first lucid dream started a little bit strange(according to the information I know). I was preparing 2-3 weeks for lucid dream by DILD method. But there was one girl that I can have only in the dreams so one night I said to my self :"This night she is my in my dream". And this night I entered for first time in lucid dream. But with the time, i stopped liking her so much and now my lucid dreams don't involve her much. Is it possible this to be the problem with my concentration?

Be extra careful about this: just because we all lucid dream in the same way, doesn't mean the mechanism behind it are exactly the same. Just to give you an example, many people say you can't read small things or even watch time properly in dreams, and many of us done it loads of times. It's also said that if you get too anxious you will wake yourself up, and we have loads of dream reports of highly emotional lucid dreams that lasted ages.

There's 2 things you need to consider here:

First, mantras don't necessarily present you with the specific cues. This is, just because you were using the sentence "This night she will be in my dream", doesn't mean it wasn't other factor inducing lucidity: many onironauts use mantras related to their tasks, and the fact that they have an action that needs completion triggers the extra alertness that might induce them a lucid.
Second, dream content reflects many aspects of yourself, and since you're in constant change, it's not uncommon that certain elements become more (or in your case, less) common as time goes. Once you get more skilled in dream control you should be able to summon her without much problem.

Yes, drastic things happening are fairly common in dreams. Anything can happen.

I just see one problem with your RC. That is that you won't always have two clocks in your dream. You can of course summon them or look around to find two, but it's very possible that you won't find any. You should take a look at the dild tutorials and see the kind of RCs they recommend. Most of them have to do with your body since mostly you have a dream body so you don't have to depend on some object that may or may not be present in the dream. Your current RC is a good idea, but it won't necessarily be feasible to do in a dream.
