Was I lucid dreaming ? PLEASE HELP

Okay so hello everyone i'm a bit new to lucid dreaming. I wanted to ask a question. I had a dream last night. We were droppend on a Island etc. I woke up and went back to bed. I was laying in the water my family was with me aswell. I checkend my hands 7 fingeer hummm strange. The tried to put a finger through my palm won't work. Then I pinched my nose i still could breath. So I became lucid i think ????? Cuz i then layed on the ground en touched en smellt everything around me to stabelize the dream. My parents in waking life didn't believe in lucid dreaming and that stuff. So in my dream i told them that they need to look at their hands and realize that they are dreaming. Some of them did some of them woke up. They were spawning like houses towers and others. -------THIS IS WHERE MY QUESTION BEGINS------- I could control the dream where i wanted to walk but i couldn't fly spaan other things or teleport(lucid layer 4). So was i lucid dreaming or not. Maybe is was a dream where i wanted to realize i was dreaming but i wast I DONT KNOW. TELL ME BELOW PLEASE

Hi, I belive it was a lucid dream. Congrats! I can try advice you on Dream Control from my experience: In my dreams, control may vary. Sometimes i'm just able to control everything by just wanting 'x' to happen. And the other times i just need to do it alternate way. If i were to spawn Dream Character alternate way i'd just tell myself that 'x' person is behind those doors because i invited him over the house few minutes ago and so when i open the doors and bam he's here Just remember when doing it alternate way to fully belive that stuff you say will happen n' work. If you realize you are dreaming then it's a lucid dream, it doesn't matter if you could conrol this or that, the point is the awareness, congratz!

I asure you that you had a Lucid Dream. And you said that you saw your parents in there they are only dream characters. It doesnt matter if you tell them that they are dreaming because nothing will change. They are a part of your subconscious mind. You can whenever you want spawn different dream characters and give them surtain powers. And for the flying problem. If you want to fly you have to have the intention. What I mean is that you must tell yourself that YOU WILL FLY. If that doesnt work try using your hands like wings or try some diferent fly objects like brooms or fairy wings anything can work here as long as you have the intention.
