Get in the habit of doing a reality check every time you wake up. That'll help you catch those false awakenings. |

If you feel like it, please take a look at my YouTube channel:

If you don't, hm well have a nice day anyway ^_^
As others have suggested make sure to Rc upon waking I have had the same problems before to I've done a few wilds in my dreams and spent what felt like 2o minutes doing the whole process only to realise I'm actually dreaming I know the pain lol. |

It sounds like you're actually having non-lucid dreams ABOUT lucid dreaming. You said they aren't very vivid, which makes me suspect they aren't actually lucid. It's very common to dream about things you think about a lot - if you're really into baseball for instance, or if you recently saw a movie you really love and think about a lot you might dream about those things. In the same way, if you're excited about lucid dreaming you can dream about it, without becoming actually lucid. It seems like you're dreaming about the whole process - the whole act of falling asleep, becoming lucid, and then waking up. |

Possibly you dream of becoming excited because you know it's something that's supposed to happen? I don't know. It could be a lucid with very low awareness too. |
