My lucid dreams have ended in different ways, but the most common is the world around me falling apart. Here is an example. I was at my beach house with a bunch of dream characters, and I knew that the dream was going to end soon. If youre standing around the dream world expecting it to collapse then the chances are it will. Even if youre not wanting it to happen its still in the back of your mind that it could. Similar to a nightmare when youre being chased, chances are the bad guy will keep finding you when you try and hide, because being a creation of your imagination, he will always know where you are. |

I think he means what happens in your lucids as the dream ends. |

For me I tend to go into the void or get the feeling that I will wake soon and I just wake. |

Usually i can tell that my lucid dreams will end because they would simply start to fade into nothingness, then i would wake up. The instant transition between dreaming and awake almost startles me however it does fascinate me. |

My lucid dreams always end by becoming more and more dark and indistinct, and then I feel that I am balancing a very fine line between dreaming and awakening, and if I don't remain super-focused, I will wake up. |
