See bottom-ish for TL;DR

I'm the type to believe in a not-so-strict logic to reality. I know when things get small, like at the atomic level, causality becomes sort of loose. And I'm sure that far off in the scale of the huge, our ordinary physics also begin to blur, into something else. That being said, i live life as if miracles can happen, because i have a fundamental doubt in what we call "logic". I've also read into zen philosophy, which has helped me along this view, because it embraces paradox; as in a paradox is not paradoxical, it's just zen logic, or the logic of life. Now i'm sorry to tangent like this, but i'm getting somewhere i swear.

The thing is, i feel that my doubt of "ordinary logic" carries on into my dreams, thus it is may seem normal to me when things are not logical.

I have a roommate who provides a nice counter example. He's isn't very philosophical, nor speculative, yet he's quite smart. That being the case, he thinks he has quite the grip on this "ordinary logic", because it's all he knows. Anyhow, he claims that every time anything is amiss, or not logical, in his dreams, that he notices immediately and thus can become lucid easily.

Now, whether he's lying is not the point. What's really interesting is whether our opposing ideologies can have an impact on our lucid frequencies.

I'll TL;DR the situation:

I believe reality is only semi-stable, because i know our physics, our mathematics, and our logic, get fuzzy at certain levels.
And so, i believe that may be why i find it difficult to notice when my dream logic is not logical; because i hardly believe in it.
And so, i have rare lucid dreams.

My roommate believes reality is entirely stable and predictable, because he isn't aware of the paradoxes of science and such.
And so, i believe that may be why he find it easy to notice when his dream logic is not logical; because he only knows straight logic.
And so, he has frequent lucid dreams.

So then what about you guys? I'd like to hear any connections between your ideologies and your lucid frequencies.

PS: I haven't been back on this site for a year! Good to be back.
