Help with keeping concentration when waking up.

I usually use mild or wild accompanied with a wbtb of course. At first I found it easy to do the technique and I had good results. However now I always seem to fall back to sleep once I start the technique especially wild. I also try to do a longer wbtb, but that often leads to the same problem or not being able to fall asleep. Any advice to this problem would be appreciated.

I'm having the same problem lately, falling asleep before being able to even become fully conscious, and if I do a longer wbtb I take so long to fall asleep that when it happens I'm taken off guard and not notice it, it really sucks. Maybe we are not sleeping enough? Have you tried sleeping longer before waking up for WILD/MILD?

It's a balance. My WBTB lasted 1.5 hours last night--way too long! However, I turned on a small light and did some reading, which certainly contributed. I would suggest avoiding lights, and keep induction "low impact" (not a lot if forceful concentration) if you have trouble falling asleep.

If you tend to fall immediately asleep, then force yourself out of bed and read a book on LDing before turning back in. Just need to find the balance. And that balance, unfortunately, changes.
