Have you ever noticed someone tossing/turning in bed, shaking their head, or even talking in their sleep? How exactly does that happen when the muscles are inactive? Is it certain muscles that go inactive? Or does that paralysis occur only in REM and movement is regained in NREM? Sorry for the multitude of questions asked |

Thanks Seeker, I figured it varied greatly person to person. There doesn't seem to be one definite answer. I wonder what sleepwalking would be since that person is dreaming and being active in the waking world? |
