      Two Lucids in one night

So I went to sleep last night not even really planning on lucid dreaming. I was full from Easter festivities and also a bit drunk. I soon began tossing and turning, I was having a terribly hard time falling to sleep. Before I knew it I was flying a fighter jet sweeping across the ocean doing all sorts of maneuvers and getting as close as I could to the water without touching it. I didn't induce this dream, but I became lucid while I was flying. Definitely one of my most exciting dreams to date.
After I woke up from that dream I couldn't fall back asleep again. I put on a sleeping podcast and started thinking about the dream I just had. Eventually I found myself on a snowmobile. I raced down a path by myself and my sled stopped working out of nowhere. I got up and looked down, there was another brand new snowmobile right there. This time I realized that I was dreaming. I could feel a rush of excitement and knew I needed to try and stabilize. I began counting to 3 over and over again while taking measured breaths. As soon as everything was fizzling out the dreamscape became amazingly clear.

This was the first time I had ever stabilized a LD with success and proceeded on. I was set in a frozen tundra and had never willed the landscape of my dream to change before, so I used the dream door technique. I willed a door to appear and just tried to think of a warm climate. Sure enough I stepped thorough the door and onto a beautiful white sand beach with the sun beating on my face. It was awesome. I remember running down to the water and Filling up water balloons and woke up shortly after that again.

It wasn't a super long dream but this was a huge breakthrough for in in terms of stabilizing the dream, and manipulating the dream once inside. I'm pumped that going forward I have the confidence of knowing that I've done it before.

Nice. I will try the breathing and the counting next time I am Lucid. I had 3 the other night (I've never had more than 1 in a week before that so it was incredible) but each time the dream fell apart after a few minutes. I need good ways to stabilize as a preventative measure because i got too wrapped up in the dream and they went out pretty quick. The breathing should be easy for me because i do a lot of breathing work already.
