Cant figure out if i was lucid or not

So the other night i was trying to have a lucid dream right when i went to sleep using a method i read in another post. I let my Subconcious scan through my mind until something stuck . i ended up in battlefield (the game) and i imagined myself as the player. I remember that i knew it was a dream and i could control my character half way while my subconcious controlled everything around me pretty much. I just cant figure out if i was lucid, as in i knew it was a dream, or if i just thought i knew it was a dream. Idk. Sorry if this is confusing

If during the dream, a DC asked you if knew were dreaming, would you have answered "Yes", "I think so", or "No". If you would have answered "Yes", then it was a lucid dream. If you wouldn't have, it was a non-lucid dream.

I understand, that wasn't the best post on my part. That means I get a second chance. Yay!

Anyway, of you knew you were dreaming, it was a lucid dream. If you had any doubt you were dreaming, it wasn't.

I have had similar...what I would call a low level lucid. Usually they are more like a traditional dream...not so much an alternate reality experience like you experience in a good lucid dream.

Yeah that sounds right. I have a vivid imagination so im thinking i could have been imagining that i was lucid instead of Actually being lucid because i tried to WILD right when went to bed.
