Thread: Had my first lucid dream in months.

This is not my first lucid dream. But it is the first lucid dream I have had in a few months. I just woke up from it a few minutes ago so naturally I'd like to share it.

I was laying in bed as far as I knew I was still awake. But suddenly my neck feels stiff. I try to shake it off but it won't shake off. Matter of fact as I try to move it it just gets worse. Not only was it getting more and more stiff it was also feeling very numb. The feeling was very frustrating and I couldn't shake it off to I had a realization. In my mind I said "wait a minute..." I decided to test out my realization. I stayed still for a second and waited to see if I could lift myself off my bed. I was able to. I lifted myself off my bed a few times my whole body felt tingly as I did it. I then lifted myself fully off the bed and onto my feet. I moved to the staircase feeling invigorated. As I walked I put my hand in front of myself. It was pale, ghostly and small just like I seen it in other lucid dreams. Moving up the staircase I began to feel wobbly almost like the stairs were moving this was another thing I have experienced in other lucid dreams. As I wobbled up the stairs I said to myself this is a lucid dream! I got up and noticed I was not in the typical house I was actually in my grandmas old house my family now uses as a vacation house. I walked past my dad in the kitchen. My mom, brother and sister both in the living room. I thought about suggesting that we were all in a dream to one of them but I decided not to. My dog came running to me and I said "oh hi Mika!" (that's my dogs name). I thought about using the dream to meet a girl I met less then a week ago again. When I thought her name I thought Kate. Then I was like wait a second why would I think that is her name, her names Edelweiss. But then I just was like screw it I'll keep this dream simple. I sat down with my dog she licked my face. When she laid down, she laid down between my legs and her crotch almost touched my leg. I moved my leg I would not want my dogs crotch touching my leg. I knew at that point my subconscious was exercising some control. I never heard of subconscious exercising some control by having undesirable things happen but I'm sure I'm not the only one who experienced something like that. I tried to get her to lay back down with me but she kept laying down in the same way. Finally I just turned her over onto her side completely and then I cuddled up with her.

That's about when I woke up.
