Lucid dream or dreaming of lucid dream?

So last night was the 2nd time i had that type of dream and i was wondering if these 2 dreams were lucid or not.

In the first dream (weeks ago) i asked myself if i was sleeping and i answered yes. Then i jumped over a wall and tried to fly but 'm not sure if i succeeded. After that i can only remember some blurred pictures.

Last night same idea: i asked a friend who was next to me if i was dreaming and watching his face i realised i was dreaming. Then the dream was shaking a bit and tried to calm down, and after that i remember some blurred pictures of him/me trying to get into other's mind and having a dream (watched inception some weeks ago)

also last night i think i faced some sleep paralysis, but not sure if i dreamed about this too!

So what we 've got here and how should i continue?

Both of those dreams were lucid, since you were aware of the fact that you were dreaming.

Being a noob too LD naturally I had been reading things about really really advanced stuff oh foolish me.

Hence last night I had a dream about being lucid. In the dream I was wondering how I would arrange things so that I could be lucid and share someone elses dream (I had read things about thoughtform and all sorts of stuff).

In the dream I thought everything was going well,
then I had a 2nd dream where I tryed again:
I was looking at myself as a cat in the dream then the dream went weird really upclose and intense 1st person view very briefly like for 2 seconds.
The dream then reverted to its previous path as tho the lucidity was just an interruption in the broadcast, then it ended shortly after.

In the dream my mind was not happy after the lucidity? Was this my ego that grabbed back control of the dream being unhappy about me being lucid?

It was soooooo annoying! but I guess anything is better than nothing. Just wondering what to do incase my lucidity gets hijacked again. Or is this totally normal.

To OP, yes those were both considered lucid dreams and congrats!

To both Newcomer17 and MeohMyoh, I would suggest better grounding yourselves once lucid I know its so tempting once lucid to just jump right into the fun stuff and try whatever comes to mind, but your experience will be better once properly grounded. Next time you are lucid, take your time to integrate each and every sense into the dream itself. Touch something, smell, hear, just perceive everything that is going on in the dream before even trying anything. Not only will this increase your lucidity, but it will also stabilize the dream and increase your control over it!
