When you look at a dream mirror what do you see it as? A mirror in a dream or a dream mirror that has something on the other side?
When you look at a wall do you see a wall in a dream or a dream wall that has something on the other side of it? Think of it in a way that the thing that you want to happen is happening. Even if it seems like it wont happen at first you can make it happen that way.

In a recent lucid dream, I was trying to get out of a car by walking through the wall. At first, I pushed on the closed door in front of me, but it stayed solid, so I instead tried to go backwards through the wall behind me. I was able to pass through the wall without resistance, and ran backwards at an impossible speed along the street where the car was parked. Going through the wall backwards in this dream was similar to the trick for summoning objects and DCs by imagining/expecting them to be behind you. It's easier to make things that would be impossible IWL happen behind you, since if you look at them as they're happening, you're more likely to pay attention to their waking-life impossibility.

ok I'll try that. I just want to see if I could go through it last night but ended up floating through a doorway into what I assume as a vision of my life.
