Does the experience of becoming aware in a dream vary from one technique to the other?

I have had four fully lucid dreams now, of which the first three using RCs in the daytime and critical reflection, after that I switched to MILD. The sensation upon becoming aware in my dream did not seem to vary though. I simply noticed that something is odd, which prompts me to RC, but it doenst feel like one technique has a certain characteristic feeling to it.
Have you noticed anything long those lines?

      Yes.

Sometimes the feeling of becoming lucid with the same technique varies too.

For me, there's three main 'feelings' of becoming lucid.

      1) There's the sudden surprise/shock when something happens that makes you realize you're in a dream.
      2) There's the gradual building awareness, that after a while just seems to reach a treshold and you become lucid almost naturally, without shock or surprise.
      3) There's the WILD transition, which for me is more of a sensation shift: from sensing the waking stimuli, to sensing both waking stimuli and dream imagery at the same time, to finally sensing just dream imagery which can then be stabilized and grounded into a full dream.

I know that there is a giant difference in experience between WILD and it's variants than any other technique. The thing is you are not skipping any conscious so you are "awake" through the entire process.

thank you all. the difference between WILD and other techniques was clear to me indeed. from what I make of it, the feeling of becoming lucid ranges from gradually building awareness to surprise or shock even. This makes more sense to me now, because before being lucid, there wouldnt be anything else along those lines because one is not critical/conscious. I just needed to know so that I could brief my brain as to what to look for in the future and to understand the nature of it all.
Has anyone noticed things changing in a dream prior to becoming lucid that somewhat announce the sensation? Like the dream becoming clearer or fuzzier? thanks again
