Help?

So i've had quite a few "lucid dreams", or so i thought. But i later realised that they weren't actual lucidity, as in its not actually ME, my consciousness. In the dream i "know" that im dreaming and start trying out techniques, but its not "ME". Its just another normal dream about me dreaming that i'm lucid. I desperately need help on this since everytime i DILD, i realise that something is wrong and im dreaming, but it just becomes another dream where im dreaming of becoming lucid.

How often has this happened? I ask that because maybe you just have to keep trying a little bit longer. It certainly seems that you're getting close if you're dreaming about lucid dreaming, right?

A little piece of advice: Every time you woke from now on do a RC. Since I've started my quest to becoming an oneironaut I realized that false awakenings are pretty common. So, start doing this every morning, that way after a Lucid and a false awakening you'll have another lucid! =D

I desperately need help on this since everytime i DILD, i realise that something is wrong and im dreaming, but it just becomes another dream where im dreaming of becoming lucid. I'm not sure if I understand that. Do you mean that you dream about realizing something and having a lucid dream? Or... Do you really become lucid, as in "the real you" waking up inside the dream, and then after a few moments of true lucidity, you lose lucidity and you dream about being lucid? Because if it's the second thing, if you have some moments of lucidity, you just need to keep practicing and prolonging that period, right? Edit: "Choose a subject title that describes your topic.
