Thread: Achieving lucidity by not jacking off?

Alright, this may sound really weird or messed up, but I think there might be something to it..
So lately I've been thinking.. Our sexual drive is our most primal and powerfull instinct/urge. Let's say you, in this exact moment said "I will NOT jack off or have sex. I will only release my urges in my lucid dreams!"
You would then on a subconcious level bind your sexual instincts to lucid dreaming, therefore, making your subconcious strive for lucidity.
I might be wrong, but it makes sense. What do you think, brovskies? I'm so trying this.

This can only work if you have no doubt that you'll lucid dream. Lets say i were to go through the effort of doing this, and go to sleep worried that it might have been for nothing. If you have a worry that it won't work, then it won't. However, if you genuinely believe that not jacking off that night will give you a lucid dream, or help it, then it will definitely work. It's all based on your mindset, just like Dream Control is.

I've done this! It didn't make me become lucid on its own, but it gave me more incentive to try to induce lucid dreams more. Then, when I did have epic lucid sex dreams, I was satisfied and I no longer desired the lucid sex dreams anymore for awhile.
