      Negative, but I often use 3DS Max - for other purposes. You can quickly assemble a house (relatively easy) or other places which dont have too many weird forms.

      3DS Max is a 3d modelling tool used for various video games, it's quite big and probably not what you want purely for lucid dreaming.

      You could try 3DS' little free sister, Gmax.
      Similar free tools are Blender, Milkshape 3D (super easy to use but shareware), google sketchup and Maya.

      For the sole purpose of building LDs, milkshape would probably be the best, but you only get a 30 day trial..

      You can also use Valve's Hammer from the Source SDK. It's actually a map editor for the Source Engine, but it is super easy to use and probably the most useful. It is also free.
